2011 USCF Committee Meetings and Delegates Meeting
This past week at the 2011 US Open in Orlando, we had the traditional committee meetings and delegates meetings. I will provide later a recap of the meetings and my opinions. In the meantime, I’ve converted all of my videos and loaded to YouTube some of them. Here are the links to a few of them with the rest coming later. The sound quality isn’t as good as it could be so turn up your volume. Next year I’ll have new equipment for better sound and video quality.

I’m not sure my hotel Internet connection in Texas will be enough to upload more videos. If that’s the case it will have to wait until I return home to Chicago to upload the rest. I still have the finance workshop, the delegates meetings, and the EB Open Session meeting that occurred after the Delegates meeting.
The election is over….
Congrats are in order for Gary, Mike, and Allen for winning the election. I sincerely hope that they will do what is in the best interest of the organization and the members.
I personally would recommend that Gary Walters should be elected the next President of the US Chess Federation.
I will continue to use this website as a communication platform to the membership to keep them abreast of developments and issues within the federation and I will continue to move forward doing what I can to move chess forward into the mainstream.
Until later…
